Welcome to Daycare Märliwält!
The “KiTa Märliwält” day-care center can accommodate 12 children (Kita Märliwält Wiedikon) and we welcome all children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years, irrespective of race, ethnicity, origin or religion.
The “KiTa Märliwält” philosophy is to have a particularly small group of children as we want to offer a personal and familiar setting that will encourage each child to discover and unfold its personality, by experiencing and learning in a secure, supportive and caring environment.
We encourage social “togetherness” in a playful way, at the same time paying close attention to the individual needs of a child and it is willingness to interact (or not) with the group at any given time.
We furthermore believe in being ‘outdoors’ to allow the children to experience the varying facets of nature and simultaneously thereby encourage activities and movement. You should not be surprised if you find us in a nearby park, on a playground or perhaps even in a fairy-tale-like forest.
